Yes I did see TJ when I was in Boston. My friends flew out Sunday morning and I saved myself 100 bucks and stayed til Monday morning. So I spent all day on Sunday with her. It was so fun! She is the same ol' Teejaro! And we had a great time. And she is dating someone, seriously enough to take him on the family vacation to Lake Tahoe for their parents reunion.....but I didn't tell you that! And while I was there we got Heather on the webcam and over the internet I got to meet her little girl who is so cute and precocious! Totally the minature H! Good times good times.....

Mamma Mia!

Okay, so I saw Mamma Mia with my mom this week. And it made me miss you guys oh so much! It was so much fun. And it reminded me of how I think our friendships would be if we were reunited in 20 years. Hilarious. And of course there was DANCING QUEEN which I silently dedicated to Marc. It was great to go see with my mom, but I just kept thinking that I needed to be there with all of my freshmen friends :) So I think you all need to go see it too!

My first view of Boston was from the back seat of a State Trooper's Car

So there I was arriving for the first time in Boston. I was there for a conference and then also to see what there was to see in Boston. My friend's friends picked us up at the airport at 11:30pm. Now if you've been to Boston, you know that it is surrounded by water and there are ALOT of tunnels. So we leave the airport and enter our first tunnel. 2 minutes into the tunnel, we realize we have a flat tire. There are NO emergency lanes in a tunnel....I repeat, ABSOLUTELY NO emergency lanes in the tunnel. So we sit there wondering what to do and a Mass Pike guy pulls up. He says he will sit behind us with his lights on until a tow truck comes, and then the tow truck will pull us out and change the tire. The tow truck comes and it occurs to us there are 5 of us, and two spots in the tow truck. The tow truck driver then calls a state trooper to come and help transport us out of the tunnel to safety. This state trooper was the most unfriendly guy I have ever met...no sense of humor whatsoever. My roommate and I immediately 'call the spots in the back seat of the trooper's car' after all who has not wanted to ride in the back seat of a state trooper's car (or maybe that's a twisted guilty pleasure of mine).
So we hop in the back seat, or rather squeeze ourselves in (the only person who could have sat there comfortably was an Oompa Loompa. And the unfriendly-lack-of-humor-super-annoyed state trooper drives us out of the tunnel to safety. And I see my first ever view of Boston! He immediately drops us off in the parking lot where we were to change the tire and speeds off....poor guy, give us a break! we are funny people.....anyway....Next question? How many mass pike tow truck drivers does it take to change a flat tire on a Honda Odyssey?
Yep! The answer is 3. What an adventure it was! Boston was great. I immediately fell in love with the city and am ready to go back.
