Shiela
On Sunday we drove 40 miles to Conifer for my cousin's baby's blessing. Someone bore their testimony about a Bishop Madsen, so I started looking around, and lo and behold, Shiela's cute little parents were sitting a few rows over. I introduced myself and got an update on Sheila and Dave. For all I know, Garnet already knew all of this, but maybe not. They are living in Ohio, in a little farm town, and Shiela started her own cookie company. It started out as her baking cookies for friends, and over the last couple years it has gone huge. She is having a hard time keeping up with orders from businesses all over their county. Fun, huh? I guess the good old days of Dave barging in on Sunday nights yelling, "Shiela...make me some cookies" and her quickly donning her apron are paying off. They're having baby #4 any day.

Pardon this... but... which one was Shelia? Was she one of your made-up friends after 1997, or was she at Fugal? I seem to recall a blond Shelia but without some story reference I'm lost.
Dave ... Dave ... Dave ... I'm disappointed in you. She was my roommate. My room - roommate. Freshmen and Sophmore year. Forgetting about Sheila is like me forgetting Kurt. And yes she was the blonde.
Thanks for the update Tam. No, I haven't actually talked to Sheila in years. We are "friends" on Goodreads (but I have yet to participate in any of the conversations) and occassionally I include her in one of my mass emails, but other than that we've pretty much lost touch. The cookie biz sounds like fun.
How did you recognize her parents? I'm impressed! So, has anyone heard from any of our other good old friends - Rich & Rich? Kelly? Sarah? Cami? or even Amber Tosha and EmJBT (where did she go?)?
Yeah, I thought she was your roommate, but you had a strange crew living with you that year.
Who's Kurt?
I knew it was them because her mom looks just like her (or vice versa). Then when I started talking to her I realized they have the exact same voice and laugh, too. It was pretty funny.
