Ok, so an update on Dahnelle... She just hit 32 weeks which is the big milestone for avoiding all of the major complications. It was a little freaky there for a while but now it seems like more of an inconvenience than anything. The goal now is to get the guy chubby enough to avoid the ICU when he decides it's time to come. Dahnelle's doctor eased up on the restrictions, so she's keeping Conner home with her while Chris is in school. She's still pretty immobile but at least she's not stuck in one spot all day long.
Chris going to school, by the way, officially makes me old.
So at 36 weeks she'll go off the medication then the betting pool can open. I keep saying we're going to have to induce at 42 weeks, but she's less confident. Maybe that's because she can't open a can of Sprite without going into false labor.
Speaking of me being old, I was eating corn on the cob with Chris the other day and I was showing him how to eat it like a typewriter. This is what I got:
"Daddy... what's a typewriter?"
When the hell did that happen?
